Good for people and the planet
Reinforcing supply chain resilience with purpose-driven procurement.
Purchasing powers the planet
We focus on adopting sustainable, ethical, and inclusive sourcing practices throughout our supply chain. Our Supplier Code of Conduct and Global Sustainable Sourcing Policy guides these efforts and we demonstrate our long-standing commitment through the priorities and the progress we've made.
Aramark engages suppliers to understand their environmental, ethical, and local impacts throughout our contractual relationships. Since 2020, we’ve continued to expand our global supplier assessment program, supported by EcoVadis and as a founding member of the Hospitality Alliance for Responsible Procurement.

Championing small, local supplier partnerships
We believe our supplier base should reflect the communities of our employees, clients, and customers. By working with small, local and underrepresented, Aramark increases the supply of culturally authentic products, drives supply chain innovation, and accelerates local economic impact.
We define local as products that are grown, raised, caught, manufactured, or processed by a farm or an independently owned business located within 250 miles (400km) of the Aramark location. We champion local business and communities, including small-scale community-based producers that are independently or cooperatively owned enterprises.

Sustainability starts with how we source
Aramark’s sustainable sourcing efforts prioritize animal welfare, antibiotics stewardship, land conversion, no deforestation and biodiversity, sustainable seafood, and circularity.
A set of principles guides each priority, setting the foundation for supplier expectations and informing our commitments.
